I grew up on a farm in a rural north Texas town called Ovilla, known for the Boxcar I grew up in Ovilla, a rural town in north Texas known for the Boxcar Willie Memorial Overpass and as a filming location for Walker Texas Ranger. I earned a BFA in graphic design in 1994 and a BFA in studio art in 2007 from Texas State University-San Marcos. In 2010, I completed an MFA in fine art from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My career began at a small, award-winning design firm in Dallas, where I worked for clients such as the Dallas Summer Musicals, SMU Mustang Club, and Yale University. Later, I transitioned to freelance graphic design, creating work for institutions like the City of San Antonio (Plaza de Artes) and the San Antonio Botanical Garden.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Now an associate professor of graphic design at Schreiner University and a practicing fine artist, exhibiting regionally and internationally. I believe artists should be \u201cconstantly creative\u201d across all disciplines.
